Hungary's most outstanding jazz singer died on June 15, 2021, at the age of 57. We've selected our personal favorites from his albums released on BMC Records.
The greatest jazz singer of Hungary, Gábor Winand has passed away on the 15th of June. BMC Records has released many albums with his contribution, and we truly believe that some of his tunes with his fellow musician-composer-guitar player, Gábor Gadó, are amongst the finest vocal jazz displays of the last decades.
Even though he was quite popular in France at the beginning of the 2000s, we suppose he was not really known worldwide. Gábor Winand should have deserved much wider recognition. I hope you agree while listening to this compilation.
